Painting with Fred Sirieux

As part of ITV's Tour de Fred show this month, Fred visited my beautiful homeland of Strangford Lough.  What a surprise and honour it was to be asked if he could visit my studio to learn how to pour a painting!  

Fred arrived after having visted Sketrick Island, where he was blown away by the views over the Lough.  So what better a subject to paint than his favourite view.

What a fun morning we had - all the crew finding a wee spot to film from, my fantastic mum serving up refreshments and homemade breads and cakes, and then me teaching a French chef and TV presenter to pour a painting... not my average day to say the least!

To celebrate I will host some poured painting workshops in the local area... more detials to follow :)
